What a week! On Tuesday I had my creativeLIVE pre-workshop shoot and LOVED it!
Then on Wednesday I talked non-stop from 9am to 4pm about social media! Thank you for all the positive feedback on that course. I really tried to pour my brain out to you all and share all of my experiences (good and bad) with social media and how I utilize it to grow my business. So again, thanks for the tweets, facebook messages, and positive feelings!

Here is a little teaser for my pre-workshop shoot... can you guess what the shoot is of? 😀 I think you'll really like it. We will be releasing the video of behind the scenes and explanation on Saturday, and I'll post the resulting images on my blog on Sunday or Monday. Looking forward to sharing with you all!

The important part of this blog post is sharing what is going on during DAY 3 of my creativeLIVE workshop. Throughout my creativeLIVE workshop I am teaching how to utilize techniques of fashion photography and apply them to your portrait and wedding work to create striking imagery. Whenever I do a fashion editorials, I always plan out the concept of my shoots with a mood board. A mood board is a way to get everyone on the same page for the shoot and communicate the general mood/goals. It includes details of the model (or client), hair and makeup ideas, lighting ideas, clothing or anything else relevant so everyone has a similar vision of the end result and therefore can work together to achieve these visual goals.
On Day 3 of my creativeLIVE, I have asked all 6 of my audience members to perform a fashion flair shoot based on their specialty in photography. We have someone doing fashion flair sessions LIVE of each of the following on Sunday!! ::
- Senior portrait
- Dancer
- Boudoir
- Family
- Bridal
- Model Portfolio
Below you can see the mood boards I have asked each of them to create to help communicate their ideas to the audience out there!!!
I'm not going to give away too much information about exactly whats happening... I'll be sharing that during the class June 1-3!
GIVEAWAYS:  I want you to share what type of photography YOU do, and create a mood board for a shoot you'd like to execute. I will be picking some of my favorite mood boards to share/mention in my social media, and will give away some awesome SURPRISE giveaways to my favorites!! Post your mood boards and let me know your specialty in photography!! http://www.flickr.com/groups/lindsayadler/ http://www.facebook.com/groups/creativeLIVE.Adler/Â
Without further adieu, here are the mood boards my attendees have developed! ENJOY!
